A LOST POINT OF VIEW
by Marie Villarreal

What can I possibly say to you all that everyone in our country and the world hasn't already said and done? And with all the words and the pictures presented to us from all sides, from all types of medias, we remain a grief stricken, unconsoled nation.

And should we ever be consoled out of our grief? As a united, basically peace loving, all giving peoples, we are not likely to ever forget the dastardly act that invaded our soul. We should keep our grief alive least we forget those who lost their lives unawares. A surprise attack against them and our nation robbed them of their God given, constitutionally given rights to live out their lives as they saw fit.

The buildings, the symbols destroyed? What about them? In our democratic society, were we put to a vote, which one of us would not vote to let the buildings go in lieu of saving every life that was lost in the Terror Attack against our nation?
